Understanding the Audience: The first step in designing any website is understanding the target audience. In the case of BS, this includes cocktail enthusiasts, mixologists, bartenders, and individuals interested in organic and natural products.
Competitor Analysis: Conducting thorough market research helped me identify competitors, trends, and gaps in the market.
The design system needed for this project includes a vibrant color palette with hues of champagne, strawberry and wood. Other than colors, this website needed stong contrasting typography, icons and buttons. Every element resonates in perfect harmony.
Homepage: Following a classic homepage layout, I decided that visuals and typography should be strong and play nicely together. This is why I also decided to combine them with contrasting colors for an even more dramatic feel.
E-commerce Page: The challenge I faced when creating the shop was that Bonical Syrups had a lot of different types of syrups for different occasions. This is why I decided to split them into categories and include a large image along with 4 products next to it for each type of syrup.
Cocktail Recipes & Search Page: Those two pages are fairly simplistic. I included filtering options in the search page, so that users could quickly navigate through the occasion and products. Below the search I included some of the featured and most popular recipes, helping anyone who isn't sure where to start with ideas.
